The CashCase™ Visa® Prepaid Card is a multi-currency card. Put simply, this means that more than one currency can be held on the same card. You can hold and spend money in Pounds Sterling, Euros and United States dollars as if you were using the local currency.
Competitive exchange ratesBefore you travel you can choose to move money between currencies on your card, thereby locking in a competitive exchange rate prior to your trip. This lets you know in advance how much you can spend, regardless of exchange rate changes while you’re abroad. Your CashCase card takes the effort out of currency conversions. Whenever you make a purchase or withdraw money at an ATM, the card will draw on the currency you’re purchasing in. If you don’t have this currency loaded on your card, it will spend from the currencies you do have loaded, in the order of your preference.
CashCase provides a safe and convenient alternative to carrying cash whilst abroad. The security of the Visa network and a Chip and PIN card give you peace of mind when travelling. If your card is lost or stolen there is no link to your primary debit card, credit card or bank accounts.
And just so you don’t get stuck for money while abroad, you can request a secondary card. If either card does get lost or stolen, you’ll still have constant access to your travel money.
